Aes offers a complete line of adapter curbs designed to transition seamlessly from your existing roof curb to new equipment without penetrating the roof membrane.

The building owner is faced with one of two decisions remove the unit and the existing unit s roof curb install a new curb transition the duct work to attach to the new curb and set the new rtu in place. Our curbs allow for quick and cost effective unit replacements. Specify prefabricated roof curbs and related products by a roof curb manufacturer not with or by the equipment manufacturer. Curb dimensions and configuration are built to meet any skylight or rooftop equipment requirements.

Economical flat flange models are also available. Specify prefab roof curbs for use with all roof penetrations and roof mounted equipment including and not limited to hvac units duct openings pipe penetrations power roof exhauster intake and relief vents flues or job fabricated items. The left and right transition sections reduce the height while the center transition section provides the opening. Pitch correction to match roof slope as specified.

This decision inherently causes significant downtime and expense to remove the existing curb and re roofing a new one not excluding the risk of creating a roof leak. Instead coordinating the curb size with the rib spacing to provide a rib to rib curb eliminates fasteners down both sides of the curb in the pan of the roof panels. The best alternative is a curb adapter. We have built adapters ranging in size from 1 to 130 tons which are being used on buildings nationwide.

Center transitions can be used in multiples to allow any size driveway width. Seam to seam r s seam clip side flanges come standard for a complete weather tight seal. Roof curbs may include a custom finish that matches the roof color.
